- Density of CREMA NUOVA is 2.697 gr/cm3 and specific gravity is 2.715 gr/cm3 which is higher than the minimum Standard value of 2.55 gr/cm3. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1467.
- Apparent porosity of CREMA NUOVA is 0.49 % which is lower than the maximum Standard value of 12 %. Total (real) porosity is 0.66 %. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1469.
- Water Absorption at atmospheric pressure by weight is 0.18 % which is lower than the maximum Standard value of 7.5 %. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1469.
- Water Absorption at atmospheric pressure by volume is 0.49 % which is lower than the maximum Standard value of 12 %. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1469.
- Compressive strength of CREMA NUOVA is 138.2 MPa which are higher than the minimum Standard value of 500 kg/cm2 for building Stones. And the minimum Standard value of 350 kg/cm2 for marbles used in wall cladding. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1467.
- Compressive strength after freezing and thawing is 133.1 MPa and change in compressive strength after freezing and thawing (-) is 3.7 % which should be less than 5%. Percentage weight loss after freezing and thawing is 0.028 % which should be less than 1%. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1469.
- Flexural (bending) strength of CREMA NUOVA is 21.2 MPa which is higher than the minimum Standard value of 40 kg/cm2 for building Stones. Therefore satisfies the marble Standard TS EN 1467.
Conclusion
This is a declaration ofconformity to CE marking of CREMA NUOVA marble to European union CEN Standardsaccording to the test results obtained from the mineralogical-petrographicexamination and physico-mechanical tests carried out as specified by ENstandards shown in Tables.
